ABB’s Terra 360 ultrafast chargers are installed in Norway’s second-largest city, Bergen and Norwegian ski resort, Geilo.
ABB has collaborated with Eviny to install ABB’s Terra 360, the fastest all-in-one charger on the market, as the company claims. These ultrafast chargers were first installed in Norway and are located in Oasen Shopping Centre, Bergen and the Norwegian ski resort of Geilo.
The company said about the station: “The charging stations can simultaneously charge up to two vehicles with dynamic power distribution. With a maximum output of 360 kW, the Terra 360 is a future proof solution capable of fully charging an electric car in 15 minutes or less.” – according to Cleantechnica.
After its pilot installation, there will be a wider rollout across Norway and Sweden. It could prove that the ABB Charging technology operates well in extreme weather conditions.
CEO of ABB E-mobility, Frank Muehlon explains: “Having recently unveiled the Terra 360 to the World, these are truly landmark launches which we are delighted to partner with Eviny on. Norway is setting the global standard for the e-mobility transition, and we are excited to hear the reaction of EV drivers in one of the most advanced nations for EV adoption.”
Norway aims to be the first country to end the sales of petrol and diesel cars by 2025. They are currently leading in electric vehicle adoption.
Eviny is boosting the EV transition in Norway. Currently, it has more than 400 chargers installed in more than 150 locations across the country.
