Volkswagen’s new fully-electric ID. Buzz is now available as a one-stop electric vehicle package with Ohme’s Home Pro smart charger included, according to Electric Cars Report.
Following last month’s announcement of the partnership between Ohme and Volkswagen, this one sees consumers who finance their ID. Buzz or ID. Buzz Cargo also gets an Ohme Home Pro.
“The ID. Buzz is one of the most exciting new EVs on the market and together with our Home Pro this is a great package for a new car buyer,” says Ohme’s CEO David Watson.

Ohme’s Home Pro smart charger can connect in real-time with the national grid and adjust its charging automatically for drivers to take advantage of all the times of low-cost charging with smart off-peak tariffs.
The ID. Buzz comes with a 77kWh battery and more than 250 miles (402 km) of the WLPT range. Charging from zero to 100% with an Ohme Home Pro with a smart off-peak tariff from Octopus could cost only £7.70 ($9.16) compared to over £26 (30.94) on the Standard Variable Tariff.

In addition, Ohme offers drivers the option to charge their vehicles when renewable energy generation on the National Grid is at its peak, further reducing their CO2 impact.
