Leading American automaker Tesla’s dominant position in the United States is primarily due to its smart strategies, such as offering incentives and cutting prices.
For instance, Tesla has made its customers feel appreciated by launching free off-peak Supercharging in its home country, particularly on special holidays.
Now, the Musk-led company is bringing this program to some European markets, including Croatia and Slovenia.
Program details
Tesla announced that it would adjust the charging costs and off-peak hours at some Supercharger stations across Croatia and Slovenia from July 21, Twitter user Esther Kokkelmans shared on Friday.
“From July 21 to September 4th @tesla #supercharging will be free when charging between 22.00-8.00 in Croatia and Slovenia Thanks Tesla Europe!”

As mentioned above, European Tesla owners in the said nations can get free Supercharging from 10 pm to 8 am from July 21 to September 4.
Moreover, Tesla owners can also access the updated prices at the following locations by tapping the Supercharger pins on their car’s touchscreen map:
- Karlovac, Croatia
- Senj, Croatia
- Otocac, Croatia
- Kozina, Slovenia
- Zadar, Croatia
- Ljubljana, Slovenia
- Maribor, Slovenia
It must be noted that this program is on top of the company’s incentives of 3-year free Supercharging for new Tesla Model S and X purchases. However, customers must only take vehicle deliveries from May 5 to June 20.

Tesla’s move to offering free Supercharging is arguably part of the company’s wider strategy to further increase sales and attract more customers in the European market.
Notably, Tesla already operates 5,262 Supercharger stations across the world, consisting of 48,028 stalls, as of the second quarter of 2023. This significant number of Superchargers indicates a year-on-year growth of 33%.
