Croatian automaker Rimac Automobili announced Tuesday the successful delivery of the world’s “fastest production electric car” to the United States for the first time.

Rimac noted that its team, along with its New York-based dealer, personally handled the delivery of the first Nevera hypercar to its US buyer.

“I am honored to have delivered the vehicle personally to our first US clients. As more people witness the incredible performance and groundbreaking technology of the Nevera, we see a growing number of enthusiasts signing up for this unparalleled opportunity to become the early adopters and proud owners of such a market-defining vehicle.”

Roni Kert, Rimac Automobili Head of Sales

The first Nevera hypercar that arrived in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave features a Gunpowder Gray paint with a pearlescent gloss. Moreover, it boasts Gunmetal Infinitus wheels, complemented by gloss black calipers.

Rimac is yet to share photos of the car’s interior. However, it disclosed that its cabin will feature an Alcantara trim with “subtle green highlights.”

“The US often leads the world when it comes to embracing new innovations in automotive performance. We’re witnessing this phenomenon with the Nevera as American buyers are flocking to secure their place in history. Congratulations to our first US customer, who had the foresight to recognize the Nevera’s immense potential during its early development. They are now rewarded with the incredible honor of being the inaugural Nevera driver in the USA, and the proud owner of the fastest-accelerating road car in the world.”

Records? They’re just there to be broken, right? Again and again and again. Watch how the extraordinary Rimac Nevera, the fastest production hypercar in the world, went chasing even more records. 23 of them in fact #Rimac #RimacNevera #BendingPhysics pic.twitter.com/040zTHYTXG

In 2022, Rimac’s electric hypercar reached an astounding 258 mph speed. That record is incredibly fast for any car, much less one that is battery-powered.

Notably, the Rimac EV attained that speed thanks to its four electric motors with a combined output of 1,914 horsepower and 1,714 pound-feet of torque. It also boasts a 120.0 kWh lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt-oxide battery pack.

“The Nevera was recently certified as the ultimate record-breaking hypercar, smashing 23 acceleration and braking records in a single day, including, 0-100mph in 3.2 seconds and the new hypercar benchmark: the 0-400kph(249mph)-0 test, in 29.93 seconds.”

Well, it is unsurprising that the Rimac offers astounding speed and performance, given that each one costs around $2.4 million.

Interested customers must hurry to acquire a Nevera hypercar as there would only be 150 units available in the world.

There’ll be just 150 examples of the Rimac Nevera, the world’s fastest-accelerating production car, made available. But you can now grab a 1/64 scale model of the record-breaking hypercar as Rimac has teamed up with Hot Wheels. Speeding our way to a whole new audience! pic.twitter.com/7j3TqpVmbv
