American carmaker Mullen Automotive announced Tuesday the upcoming debut of its new “ultra-high-performance” Mullen FIVE RS electric crossover on the “Strikingly Different” tour on August 20 in Austin.
Mullen FIVE RS details
Mullen claims that the all-new FIVE RS will have a 200 miles per hour top speed. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just below 2 seconds.
It features an 800-volt platform that supports AWD configuration. It also boasts a two-speed gearbox.
In addition, it generates a maximum output of 1,100 horsepower. The press release further indicated that the FIVE RS is equipped with a performance-based suspension.
It also sports an enormous 325/35R21 front and rear tires. The company also ensured that the EV’s brakes could support immediate stopping to offer an extremely competitive racing experience.
Mullen Automotive CEO is trying to collect feedback from the company’s shareholders regarding the FIVE RS EV.
“I want to encourage shareholders to continue sharing thoughts and opinions with Mullen, and remember we are working together to achieve great things, including pushing the boundaries of EV performance and electrifying the world.”
