The European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) has granted its highest 5-star safety rating to Lucid Air in its most recent and last batch of cars for this year.

InsideEVs reported that the all-electric sedan aced two safety test categories: Adult Occupant (90%) and Child Occupant (91%). It had a mediocre score for the Vulnerable Road Users category with 78%, while it had 84% for the Safety Assist.

The Lucid Air earned the maximum score in the barrier impact and pole test assessments. Furthermore, the electric sedan’s vital body area protection was also excellent in the frontal offset test and the side barrier impact.

“The system worked robustly and was rewarded. All of the child restraint types for which the Air is designed could be properly installed and accommodated in the car.”
