According to the press release, the new Hyundai Casper Electric has officially hit the South Korean market. It is now available for pre-orders.

In hindsight, Hyundai has just introduced the new model in June 2024. It goes by the name Inster EV” in Europe.

The company claims that the new electric crossover city car is the “new standard for popularizing electric vehicles.”

Pricing

Hyundai launched the new Casper Electric at very competitive pricing.

The base variant, “Inspiration,” costs only 31.5 million won ($22,800), excluding tax incentives.

Available government and local subsidies can further bring down the final costs to about 20 million won ( $14,500), depending on regional support.

Hyundai's new Casper Electric EV (known as the INSTER EV in Europe) is now available for pre-order in Korea starting at $22,800 (31.5M won), potentially dropping to under $14,500 (20M won) with rebates.
