Avatr plans to expand its current offering of electric vehicles soon, according to a patent application that was just submitted. Huawei’s systems power the brand-new electric sedan known as the Avatr 12, and the Avatr brand of electric vehicles, in general, is powered by Huawei.

Several similarities between the Avatr 11 and the Avatr 12 can be seen in the design patent application for the latter.

According to the patent documents, the new model’s front and rear designs appear to be a mildly flatter edition of its predecessor than the model that came before it.

Wow, so far in March, the new AVATR 11 is the #1 selling electric SUV in China above 300k RMB and iM LS7 is #3

The Avatr 11 SUV

NIO and Changan are credited with founding Avatr in 2018, but Changan and CATL are the companies currently holding ownership. Avatr’s lineup of electric vehicles is supported by a comprehensive platform that Huawei provides.

The Avatr 11 is an electric SUV that Huawei markets through its showrooms all over China. It is the previous generation of the Avatr. Huawei will be responsible for providing the powertrain for the Avatr 12.

GIZMOCHINA reports that it indicates that it will come equipped with two electric motors with a combined output of 425kWh. The battery choices are either 90kWh or 116kWh, both from CATL.

The EP1 platform will offer full support for the Huawei Harmony operating system, which will be used by the Avatr 12.

The electric vehicle is anticipated to have a range of more than 555 kilometers when equipped with the standard battery and more than 680 kilometers when equipped with the bigger battery of the Avatr 11.

Avatr 12 to be released next month

The car’s specifications have yet to be released, yet it features a more aerodynamic design for increased power efficiency.

The EV is already in advanced testing, and test vehicles were spotted several times. Images of the Avatr 11’s interior are also spreading online.

The large center screen and a steering wheel similar to the Avatr 11 are two of the most noticeable interior features.

The Avatr 12 pre-production vehicle will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show next month. There aren’t any pricing specifics or a release date for the EV in the Chinese market.
