Genesis launches 2023 Electrified GV70 in Australian Market

The South Korean company Genesis launched its third electric vehicle, Genesis GV70, in the Australian Market, according to EVMagz.

Genesis GV70 Specifications

The luxury electric SUV’s price starts from $80,241. It has a 77.4kWh battery that powers a 180kW front electric motor and a 180kW rear electric motor. It has a maximum of 360kW and 700 Newton meters of torque output.

In addition, the Genesis electrified model runs up to 445 km of range on a single charge. While in performance, it can go from 0-100 km per hour in 4.2 seconds.

Notably, it can charge from 10-80 percent in only 18 minutes. It would cost from $127,800 — $45,000 more than the previous most expensive, mid-size SUV petrol-powered version.

“We are excited to launch the Electrified GV70 in Australia and take our tally to three new all-electric models this year,” says Genesis Motors Australia head Connal Yan.

Main and Safety Features

All models in Australia are provided with a luxury package as standard, including backlit door trim, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Forward Attention Warning, and 20-inch rims.

Inside the vehicle, the model has a fingerprint reader, head-up display, Nappa leather seats with a massage function, Remote Smart Parking Assist via Smart Key, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

In addition to other main features, the SUV also has active noise control, e-Active sound design, Navigation with Augmented Reality, 14 speakers, 1050 watt Lexicon by Harman audio system, a 14.5-inch touch screen, and several others.

The model also has safety features, including Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, High Beam Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assists, Multi Collision Brake, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go function.
