One-stop customer experience shop

GM North America president Steve Carlisle officially introduced GM Envolve to approximately 850 business customers and dealers during the annual Fleet Solutions Summit on Wednesday, per the press release.

“GM Envolve will leverage the complete power of General Motors to offer the best solutions to customers and further reinforce why we’ve increased our fleet sales for five consecutive quarters.

Today begins the GM Envolve journey, where we will bring our customers in to create tailored solutions to meet their unique business challenges.”

GM North America president Steve Carlisle

Through this one-stop customer experience shop, the company seeks to help customers get ahead of development with a streamlined product and service selection suited to the latter’s present and future demands.

GM anticipates that this new strategy will increase operational efficiency and open up more prospects for income generation with both present and potential clients.

How would it work?

All that said, GM will offer customers access to its connected ecosystem through a single account executive. The company will streamline the purchasing process by employing this single sales touchpoint, which also extends to the customer’s team.

In essence, it will deliver fresh ideas and a comprehensive approach to problem-solving to effectively aid the customers’ fleet in transitioning to electric.

GM Envolve also stated that these account executives would have a committed team of experts at their side to assist them in selecting and putting together a package of GM’s cutting-edge technology and solutions for each customer’s business.

As mentioned, GM Envolve will employ all aspects of General Motors for seamless electrification, including:

  • Mobility – EVs and components like the Silverado EV WRT and Brightdrop Zevo
  • Energy – Drive commercial technologies through stationary battery storage, cloud management, integrated charging, and GM’s HYDROTEC fuel cell technology
  • Delivery – GM’s BrightDrop supports more intelligent and efficient goods movement
  • Insight – OnStar supports data-powered solutions to improve business operations while safeguarding people and assets
  • Growth – Available EV infrastructure, finance, technology, energy, and sustainability consulting services to aid customers in optimizing growth and performance
