Innovusion’s Falcon LiDAR

Innovusion’s Falcon LiDAR is designed to provide the FF 91 Futurist insight into the environment far in front of the car. Enabled by Falcon’s high angular resolution and long-distance capability, other vehicles in the FF91’s path could be detected up to 1,600 feet away. Even pedestrians and small road debris could be detected about 650 feet away.

Innovusion is a leader in high-resolution, ultra-long-distance, laser-based automotive sensors. Incorporating this advanced LiDAR technology into the FF 91 is very exciting and supports our efforts to deliver the uniquely positioned FF 91 to the market. The FF 91 Futurist will embrace the latest technologies to employ driver assistance features that help us achieve new levels of safety, driver comfort, and convenience.

Hong Rao, vice president of IAI at Faraday Future

Falcon’s advanced vision capabilities incorporate a sustained full field-of-view and high-resolution data collection, allowing superior visibility and improved safety in complex road conditions.

Leveraging 1550 Nm laser technology, Falcon could cope with difficult weather and environmental conditions. Snow, rain, in the sunniest or darkest day and night, the forecast offers consistent, real-time precision.

Packed with 1 LiDAR, 11 cameras, 5 radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and computing capabilities beyond human, the #FF91 Futurist offers a comprehensive ADAS system to keep its users safe at all times.
