As per the Chinese online configurator, the DongfengNammi 01 will only have a base price of ¥74,800 ($10,400) with up to 430 km driving range. Notably, the initial batch of the model rolled off the production line on January 6.

Exterior design

The Nammi 01 is a compact electric vehicle with a dimension of 4030/1810/1570 mm and a wheelbase of 2660 mm.

Its standard configuration can carry 5 people, as noted by Car News China. It offers five body paint options, including yellow, white, blue, white + yellow, and white + blue. It comes standard with 16″ rims with an optional 17″ upgrade and 215/60 R16 tire.

Nammi 01’s front fascia has a closed grille layout and triangular headlights on each side. Enticingly, it has frameless doors with concealed door handles, a suspended roof design, and round taillights.

Ten samochód jest ważny bo jest oficjalne potwierdzenie importera że będzie dostępny w Niemczech a jeśli chodzi o Polskę to też jest to bardzo prawdopodobne.

Interior features and ADAS

The Dongfeng’s Nammi 01 offers two interior color options, including black-white and black-gray, along with 32-color ambient lighting. It comes standard with a 5″ LCD instrument panel, a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and a 12.8″ floating central control screen. Its front seats also support a one-click, lie-flat arrangement.

It also offers mobile remote control capability, over-the-air (OTA) updates, mobile phone wireless charging, and smart voice control. In addition, it supports level 2 advanced driving assistance (ADAS) technology, such as the following:

  • blind spot monitoring
  • autonomous parking
  • remote parking
  • forward collision warning
  • lane keeping assist
  • traffic sign recognition
  • adaptive cruise control

Technical details

The Nammi 01 is the brand’s first model to ride on the Dongfeng Quantum Architecture S3 platform.

It features a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a maximum output of 70 kW and 160 Nm of torque.

The model boasts a top speed of 140 km/h. It also enables a CLTC-rated driving range of 330 km and 430 km from 31.45 kWh and 42.3 kWh LFP battery packs, respectively.

Impressively, its DC fast charging capability enables the battery to reach 80% from a 30% charge state in just half an hour. It can also replenish up to 200 km range in just 8 minutes.

Nammi aims to introduce a maximum of 2 new model offerings annually to surpass 400,000 unit sales by 2025. In that sense, the new brand and its 01 EV will play a crucial role in Dongfeng’s efforts to reach its annual sales target of 1 million NEVs in the same timeline, as noted by Deputy General Manager Chen Hao in August 2023.

The first 10,000 customers can secure a ¥3,000 discount when they opt to pay ¥99 for the Nammi 01 initially. They can also benefit from up to ¥3,000 replacement subsidy.
