Technical details
The Nammi 01 is the brand’s first model to ride on the Dongfeng Quantum Architecture S3 platform.
It features a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a maximum output of 70 kW and 160 Nm of torque.
The model boasts a top speed of 140 km/h. It also enables a CLTC-rated driving range of 330 km and 430 km from 31.45 kWh and 42.3 kWh LFP battery packs, respectively.
Impressively, its DC fast charging capability enables the battery to reach 80% from a 30% charge state in just half an hour. It can also replenish up to 200 km range in just 8 minutes.
Nammi aims to introduce a maximum of 2 new model offerings annually to surpass 400,000 unit sales by 2025. In that sense, the new brand and its 01 EV will play a crucial role in Dongfeng’s efforts to reach its annual sales target of 1 million NEVs in the same timeline, as noted by Deputy General Manager Chen Hao in August 2023.
The first 10,000 customers can secure a ¥3,000 discount when they opt to pay ¥99 for the Nammi 01 initially. They can also benefit from up to ¥3,000 replacement subsidy.
