Outlook per access control type

The Vehicle Access Control industry has two segments, including the Non-Biometric Systems and the Biometric Systems.

Non-biometric systems are vehicle access and security technologies, such as keyless entry, RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification), and remote control access. The report forecasts this segment to hit a CAGR of 8.4% to US$15.9 billion market cap by 2030. 

Meanwhile, Biometric Systems utilize more advanced physiological features like fingerprints, iris scans, and facial recognition. It significantly improves the vehicle owners’ security from unwanted entries.

Market forecasts per region

Global Strategic Business Report for Vehicle Access Control also outlined its insights per regional markets, including the US, China, Japan, Canada, and Germany.

The report expects the US market to further increase its market valuation of US$2.5 billion in 2022. It even emphasized that the robust auto industry and wider advanced access control technology uptake largely boost the country’s market size.

Likewise, China is also predicted to expand its Vehicle Access Control market to a US$4.2 billion market size by the end of this decade.

Meanwhile, it expects Japan to record a 6.9% CAGR in the same forecast period. The country’s technological advancements in its auto industry and advanced access control solutions discoveries are expected to aid the country in boosting its growth rate by 2030.

Canada will also enjoy significant growth in its Vehicle Access Control industry with an 8.8% CAGR owing to its major investments in relevant infrastructures.
