Stellantis delivers first Fiat 500e EVs to Canada

The initial shipment of the iconic Fiat 500e docked in Halifax, Nova Scotia, last Friday.

Fiat will then start delivering the two-door fully electric car to its first customers in Quebec and British Columbia.

The arrival of the 2024 Fiat 500e signifies the advent of Stellantis’ electric vehicle evolution in Canada.

Fiat 500e becomes Canada’s most affordable EV

The Fiat 500e boasts two distinctive characteristics that could entice Canadian customers: its iconic design and competitive price.

According to Stellantis, the Fiat 500e has become the most affordable electric vehicle model for the 2024 model year in the Canadian market. It has a base price of $42,190 ($39,995 MSRP excluding additional fees).

The 2024 Fiat 500e can also benefit from government rebates, such as up to $5,000 at the federal level and up to $7,000 at the provincial level.

As of today, Quebec offers a $7,000 rebate. Meanwhile, prospective customers in British Columbia can obtain a $4,000 provincial rebate.

Fiat indicated on its website that the 500e electric car will come with the following exterior features:

As for the technical specifications, the 2024 Fiat 500e can deliver up to 240 km driving range between charges from its 42kWh 400V battery pack. It also features an output of 118 horsepower and 162 lb‑ft of torque. Moreover, it has a level 1 110V AC charge cable.

Fiat 500e’s remarkable design, enticing pricing, and substantial government rebates will undoubtedly improve its appeal to Canadian customers. However, it may not suit customers who prioritize longer driving range.
