Chinese automaker BYD has proliferated in the global auto industry, tripling its annual car sales in 2022. Notably, the all-new BYD Atto 3 seems to be the culmination of its developments in EV technology so far.
The BYD Atto 3, also known as the BYD Yuan Plus, currently offers two variants: the Standard Range and Extended Range. Both are supported by the automaker’s e-Platform 3.0.

The BYD Atto 3 Extended Range variant is equipped with a 60kWh BYD Blade battery. It has a claimed range of 480km (NEDC) and an acceleration of 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds. As for the maximum power, the Extended Range boasts 150kW.
Likewise, the Standard Range variant is also retrofitted with BYD Blade Battery. Its claimed range is 410km (NEDC). Its acceleration and maximum power are similar to the Extended Range trim. However, both variants have no one-pedal driving configuration.

Interior and cargo
The compact SUV’s interior features a sporty and musical atmosphere. Its unique doorknobs and center armrest have patterns that resemble those on a treadmill, and it also has race car-like front seats. Interestingly, the vents for the air conditioning were designed to resemble parallel gym weights.
Meanwhile, the door cards’ side pockets show how music inspired BYD Atto 3’s interior design. You may play your favorite songs while waiting at the lights with its tuned cords.
