The 2024 Citroën e-C3 signifies the company’s efforts to revolutionize electric mobility with affordable pricing that does not compromise comfort and design. It offers a budget-friendly option for European customers looking for a practical yet cozy electric vehicle model for daily driving.

2. New Features in 2024

The 2024 Citroën e-C3 is an all-new model. Therefore, everything about the compact electric car is new compared to existing gasoline-powered C3 models. It sports a fresh look for Citroën with a tall and boxy design, popular wheel arch cladding, and slim LED headlights.

3. Design and Aesthetics:

A. Exterior design and style

The 2024 Citroën e-C3 is the first model to feature the brand’s new design language and logo, initially previewed by the Oli Concept in 2022.

The new compact car sports a tall, boxy design with slim LED headlights. It also has a chunky wheel arch cladding and roof rails.

The interior of the 2024 Citroën e-C3 matches its exterior design. It boasts a bold appearance with a stepped design dashboard, which places the digital driver’s display on top of the dashboard, like the Peugeot e-208. Meanwhile, the 10.25″ infotainment screen is located in the center. However, it is optional for the entry-level version.

The 2024 Citroën e-C3 has a solid feel with a good amount of heft in the doors and bonnet, enabling the model to deliver a sturdy structure.

The plastic materials inside the cabin feel high quality and durable. However, some early reviewers recommend higher-quality interior material for a more premium feel.

D. Ergonomics and comfort

Citroën’s e-C3 boasts very competitive ergonomics and comfort features as it seeks to offer a pleasant driving experience to customers.

It also has a spacious interior despite being a subcompact car partly due to its taller height than prior C3 models. It has 1378 mm of shoulder room for rear passengers and 991 mm of headroom for the front passengers.

E. Cargo space and storage

Citroën’s new e-C3 EV boasts ample cargo space with a 315 L boot. It also has a 2540 mm wheelbase, offering customers a pleasant driving experience alongside cleverly hidden storage.

11. Conclusion

Citroën’s e-C3 is a low-cost and practical electric car perfect for daily driving. It comes with a competitive range of up to 199 miles (WLTP). It also features a Citroën Advanced Comfort® Suspension and Seats to improve ride quality. In addition, it also has a spacious interior despite being a subcompact car.

The 2024 Citroën e-C3 may be a good option for buyers who are willing to acquire a new but unproven electric vehicle model, as it is very affordable and comfortable. However, customers who prioritize reliability and safety may want to consider already established EVs from other brands with stronger reputations for reliability.
