The Geely-owned electric vehicle automaker Zeekr reported on November 19 that its cumulative deliveries had surpassed 60,000 units, as per CnEVPost.
Recent achievements
It is important to note that as of the end of October, Zeekr had delivered a total of 55,600 electric vehicles. That said, the Chinese company has already delivered 4,400 units this month.
Only the Zeekr 001 is presently being produced and sold by Zeekr. However, it officially launched its second model, the Zeekr 009 MPV, on November 1, with deliveries expected to start in January 2023.
Zeekr also announced on Saturday that its delivery pace has increased. In fact, its product’s delivery lead times were cut to 4-6 weeks.
2022 target
Zeekr reported on September 9 that it had exhausted its capacity for this year and would start delivering new orders in 2023.
Zeekr had initially outlined a 70,000-vehicle delivery goal by 2022. So far, the company has delivered 49,593 vehicles throughout January and October.
In March 2021, Zeekr made its formal debut as an independent business. Deliveries of the Zeekr 001 began in October of last year after its introduction on April 15, 2021.
Zeekr delivered 10,000 vehicles overall on February 9 of this year. Meanwhile, the delivery of Zeekr’s 50,000th vehicle was announced on October 15.
Pricing
The company reiterated on Saturday that the average order price for the Zeekr was more than RMB 336,000 ($46,970).
There are presently four price ranges for the Zeekr 001: RMB 299,000, RMB 299,000, RMB 349,000, and RMB 386,000.
Furthermore, two versions of the Zeekr 009 MPV start at RMB 499,000 and RMB 588,000, respectively.
Further plans
It is also worth noting that Zeekr is gearing up for its first public offering as deliveries increase.
Geely announced in a statement on October 31 that it aims for Zeekr to be listed separately and that it had made a proposal to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). Nonetheless, the HKEX reportedly affirmed that Zeekr is prepared for the suggested spin-off.
The listing location, offering scope, and price range are among the terms that have yet to be decided, according to Geely. The parent company added that it would provide further details when it was ready.
