Bridgestone-owned Webfleet has launched its Webfleet EV.connect platform with the collaboration of Chargylize to aid its clients’ electrification efforts, according to Automotive World.
“The partnership with Webfleet enables fleet managers to simulate fleet electrification within 10 minutes.”
Florian Klett, Co-Founder, and CEO of Chargylize
How does it work?
The Webfleet telematics data allows the Munich-based Chargylize to evaluate how a company uses its vehicles and the charging infrastructure available in the area where the fleet operates.
To put it simply, users of Webfleet can consult Chargylize for fleet electrification assistance using those data.
“Our solution provides real transparency to fleet managers about the electrification potential of their fleet. This enables data-driven decisions rather than decisions made on gut feeling.”
Florian Klett, Co-Founder, and CEO of Chargylize
Furthermore, the Webfleet EV.connect allows users to select the ideal electric vehicle from a list of options depending on their preference for the range, brand, and price. Interestingly, they can even check how much fuel and CO2 they will conserve.
All that considered, Webfleet users will be properly guided in efficiently making the transition from ICE to EV.
“Webfleet is focused on supporting our users as they transition to EVs. So, we’re excited to partner with Chargylize. Partnerships like this allow our users to plan their electrification journey step-by-step, backed with accurate telematics data to optimise their fleet efficiency.”
Taco van der Leij, Vice President Webfleet Europe
For those interested, Webfleet and Chargylize platform users in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, and Ireland can access the newly designed platform EV.connect.
