Vietnamese electric automaker VinFast recently debuted its newest mini car model VF 3, specially designed for its home market.
What’s more interesting about this new VinFast EV is that it looks similar to the Suzuki Jimny four-wheel-drive. Drive noted that both modes feature the same boxy design and small two-door ratios.
About the VF 3
The all-new VF 3 has a compact and modern design, offering multiple advantages that aid convenient and seamless driving.
It would join the small car industry in Vietnam as a Mini car. According to the automaker, the model “represents VinFast’s initial endeavor in developing a small car model designed dedicated to the distinctive characteristics and driving patterns of domestic consumers.”
VinFast will offer two trims: Eco and Plus. According to VinFast, the EV will have an affordable price to cater to the mass market.
“With its outstanding advantages of zero emissions, noise-free operation, environmental friendliness, and, most importantly, high safety standards, VF 3 has the potential to become the new “national vehicle” for the Vietnamese people. It can help fulfill the “car dreams” of millions of families while improving living standards and serving as a powerful catalyst for the widespread adoption of electric cars in Vietnam.”
