After the company’s global debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, VinFast announced its return with a brand new positioning as Vietnam’s first and only global smart electric vehicle maker, as per Vietnamplus.
VinFast brings to the 2022 Paris Motor Show, from October 17-23, four models VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9.
Notably, this sets the first time for the company to introduce these EV models to the French market officially. Particularly, the VF 6 and VF 7, respectively belonging to the B-segment and C-segment, are two EV models designed by VinFast and Torino Design.
Meanwhile, the Pininfarina-designed VF 8 and VF 9 models are the first two SUV models to debut in the global market. The brand’s four fully-electric models come with a 10-year warranty, which is one of the top warranty policies on the market.
In addition, the Vietnamese automaker developed a comprehensive ecosystem of electrified mobility in just four years. It covers electric scooters and cars, electric buses, and sustainable energy solutions.
The current EV lineup consists of five models: VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9, covering segments A to E.

The first 100 VF 8s were delivered to VinFast customers in Vietnam. Around 5,000 are expected to be delivered to customers of international markets later this year.
The brand’s global debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show stood Vietnam on the automotive industry’s world map. At the show, VinFast presented two gasoline-powered models, Lux A and Lux SA 2.0, that attracted the world’s attention, audience, and press. The brand was also awarded ‘A Star is Born’ by AUTOBEST.
Moreover, the company also announced its business strategy and the opening of headquarters in France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
