VinFast, an electric vehicle maker based in Vietnam, has recently expanded its operations to the United States and begun delivering vehicles to customers there.
The delivery of the first 45 VF 8 City Edition all-electric SUVs to customers in the United States on March 1 at VinFast’s nine stores throughout California marks the beginning of the company’s official entry into the market in North America.
Buyers of VF 8 City Edition qualified for the financing offer
In the following days, VinFast will continue its delivery operation for the City Edition vehicles to customers at its stores or through a home-delivery service, per the press release.
The VF 8 City Edition comprises 999 vehicles brought into the United States in December 2022.
Customers who purchase the VF 8 City Edition will be eligible for a unique financing offer since it is a limited edition.
VinFast’s FOTA
The EPA estimates that the VF 8 City Edition Eco and Plus models range 207 miles (or 331 kilometers) and 191 miles (or 305 kilometers), respectively.
The VF 8 City Edition is loaded with an extensive selection of advanced technologies, including ADAS and Smart Services.
VinFast firmware over-the-air (FOTA) could deliver regular updates to all VinFast vehicles. These updates are intended to improve the vehicle’s functionality and performance.
VinFast provides a 10-year warranty on vehicles and batteries, mobile services, and round-the-clock roadside assistance for customers in the United States who purchase their products. The handover event took place all day long in VinFast stores across California.
