Remarkably, Volvo’s sales in the US have been steadily increasing from last year until now. It will not be surprising if the automaker delivers another strong result this month.
It is worth noting that Volvo only offers electric vehicles in the US, including mild hybrid, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or all-electric. The automaker plans to add the highly awaited Volvo EX90 model to its current US portfolio, which includes the XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge BEV models.
All that said, the remarkable January 2023 sales could serve as Volvo’s stepping stone towards achieving its goal of 100% EV sales worldwide by 2030. It also plans to boost its sales volume to 1.2 million units per year, which may further increase Volvo’s sales return.
