Demo drives and market launch

In hindsight, Tesla formally started offering refreshed Model 3 customers with demo drives in January 2024.

It officially launched the updated Tesla Model 3 in various  European and Asian markets in 2023.

Many Tesla fans have already spotted the electric sedan being tested multiple times in the US in the months before the North American launch.

Most recently, Tesla finally introduced the highly awaited Model 3 Performance variant. It comes with an updated drive unit and improved performance overall. Moreover, it is the only Tesla Model 3 variant that qualifies for the federal tax credit of $7,500.
