TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto noted Toyota’s goal of offering the Filipino people more EV options to improve the technology’s availability there.

“In Toyota, we believe in a multiple pathway approach to achieve carbon neutrality. One of the ways we are empowering you, our customers, to help build a sustainable future is through electrified vehicles. The way to maximize the environmental benefits of electrified vehicles is through widespread adoption. That is why we offer the widest range of hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) in the market.”

Atsuhiro Okamoto, TMP President

The automaker expects the Toyota Yaris Cross to widen the customers’ options within its HEV lineup. It claims to offer a competitive value package with an attractive contemporary design. It will also have innovative tech features that adhere to most drivers’ preferences.
