Automakers are now racing to hit new records with their electric vehicle sales and delivery figures as the year-end looms. To attract more customers, several players launched significant discounts and other offers in the Indian market.

Mahindra XUV400 — Discount up to Rs 4.2 lakh
Mahindra & Mahindra will soon launch the facelifted XUV400 model. For now, its EL variant offers enticing discounts of up to Rs 4.2 lakh. Meanwhile, its ESC variant has up to Rs 3.2 lakh discount. In addition, the electric compact SUV’s base model EC is also discounted by up to Rs 1.7 lakh.
Hyundai Kona EV — Discount up to Rs 3 lakh
South Korean Hyundai also launched attractive discounts of up to Rs 3 lakh for its Kona model offering in India. It currently has a base price of Rs 23.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) with a 39.2 kW battery pack and a maximum output of 134 bhp and 395 Nm of torque.
Hyundai claims that the electric vehicle can achieve a full charge in just more than 6 hours using a standard AC charger, while a 50kW DC charger can enable a 0-80% charge in just 57 minutes.
MG ZS EV — Discount over Rs 1 lakh
MG already lowered the pricing of its ZS EV a few months ago to stay competitive in the rapidly growing electric vehicle market. The price cuts vary per the model’s variants from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000.
Now, the automaker launched year-end deals over Rs 1 lakh for the Rs 23.38 lakh ZS EV to attract more customers. Reports reveal that the ZS EC offers up to Rs 50,000 in exchange bonuses and up to Rs 50,000 in cash discounts. In addition, it also has extra loyalty and corporate deals.
MG Comet — Discount up to Rs 65,000
MG’s Comet has been one of the cheapest EV offerings in India since its market launch last May. It has three versions available, including the Pace, Play, and Plush, with a base price of Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
The automaker launched new discounts of up to Rs 65,000 to empty its Comet inventories for the year. Apart from that, it also offers additional deals such as loyalty and exchange perks, as well as cash and corporate offers.
Tata Tigor EV
Tata’s Tigor EV has enticing dealer-end offers on select models. However, deals vary on stock and location, according to My Car Help Line. Therefore, it did not indicate specific details about the dealer offers for the model.
