1. Tesla Model Y — 191,451 sales

Tesla Model Y is another of Tesla’s EV offerings alongside Model 3, Model X, and Model S. It is a compact utility car with a record of 191,451 US sales.

Tesla Model Y achieved NHTSA 5-star safety ratings in every category and subcategory. It comes with a dual motor all-wheel drive, can go 330 miles (531 km) on a single charge, and can replenish 162 miles (260 km) in just 15 minutes.

2. Tesla Model 3 — 156,357 sales

The record number doubles what the Model 3 sold in the same period last year.

Similar to Model Y, Model 3 also achieved NHTSA 5-star safety ratings in every category and subcategory. It has the option of dual motor all-wheel drive, 20” Überturbine wheels, and Performance brakes for total control in various weather conditions. It can also accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 3.1 seconds and has a range of 315 miles (506 km).

Notably, Ford and SK On broke ground for an electric vehicle battery park in Kentucky.
