Electric vehicle giant Tesla has once again proven its mettle as a leader in the industry, with the release of its highly anticipated Q1 2022 production and delivery report. The results are in, and they are nothing short of impressive. Tesla has surpassed expectations and set a new milestone by delivering a remarkable 422,875 units of its acclaimed Model Y, Model 3, Model S and Model X vehicles worldwide, in a single quarter. This outstanding achievement has shattered the previous record set by Tesla in Q4 2022, where they sold a respectable 405,278 cars.
Q1 2023 Production Figures: Tesla Continues to Scale Up, Model 3/Y Leads the Charge
Model 3/Y deliveries have reached a whopping 412,180, while Model S and Model X deliveries combined just managed to hit 10,695. In terms of production, the total combined figure for all Tesla vehicles manufactured for this quarter was 440,808, with the Model 3/Y contributing a staggering 421,371 of the total production, and the Model S/X accounting for 19,437. These figures suggest another profitable quarter for Tesla.
With an impressive production record in the first quarter, Tesla confirms that they have produced over 440,000 vehicles and delivered over 422,000 vehicles. Tesla is striving to improve their global presence and regional diversity, and as a result, they have made a conscious effort to transition towards a more even mix of vehicle builds, which includes the transit of Model S/X vehicles to EMEA and APAC.
