Tesla has previously announced plans to use its Humanoid Robots across its factories and started posting job listings for the Tesla Bot program. Now, Teslarati reports that Tesla is again on a hiring spree for its Optimus Bot.

As seen in the photo attached to the Tweet above, the job vacancy is looking for a Deep Learning Manipulation Engineer. As per the link provided by Julian Ibarz, the job responsibilities include the following tasks:

· Design and develop our learned robotic manipulation software stack and algorithms.
· Develop robotic manipulation capabilities including but not limited to (re)grasping, pick-and-place, and more dexterous behaviors to enable useful work in both structured and unstructured environments.
· Model robotic manipulation processes to enable analysis, simulation, planning, and controls
· Reason about uncertainty due to measurements and physical interaction with the environment, and develop algorithms that adapt well to imperfect information.
· Assist with overall software architecture design, including designing interfaces between subsystems
· Ship production quality, safety-critical software.
· Collaborate with a team of exceptional individuals laser-focused on bringing useful bi-ped humanoid robots into the real world.

Julian Ibarz also shared another link that reveals a list of numerous Tesla Bot-related job vacancies.

Tesla is renowned for providing cutting-edge technology that astounds customers upon initial introduction. In fact, Goldman Sachs even predicted that the Tesla bot-like humanoid robots have the potential to generate a profit of about $150 billion a year.

That said, it makes sense that Tesla is advancing this project, which can significantly help its gigafactory operations and bring in sizeable profits in the future.
