Online community Tesla Owners Club Western Australia posted on social media platform X (former Twitter) the arrival of the Tesla EVs at the Fremantle port.

As you can see in the photo attached to the X post below, the  200 m-long transport ship Crystal Ace carried all the units to the state.

A record total of 749 @Tesla #Model3 and #ModelY #EVs freshly arrived at #Fremantle port in #WesternAustralia from the transport ship Crystal Ace. Soon to be delivered to eager owners.

You can also observe that only about 400+ EVs are visible in the photos. To make things clear, an X user explained that Tesla already unloaded the other 300+ EVs from the ship.

Tesla’s footprint in Australia

Tesla continues to lead the Australian EV industry despite only having two available models in the country.

This year to date, the famous Tesla Model 3 and Y reportedly sold 29,5111 units already.

The Tesla Model Y’s sales reached almost 4,000 units in July alone. This sales number enabled the American automaker to overthrow Toyota’s iconic Rav4 hybrid EV.

Now, Tesla is once again restocking its Model 3 and Y supply for the local market with the arrival of the new 749 units.

The news pleased many Australian customers, considering that Tesla EVs qualify for state EV subsidies.

“That’s awesome. I’m placing an order for a Model 3 on Monday, hopefully there’s still places available for the $3500 gov rebate by the time I receive mine!”
