About the credits
The Supercharger credits currently offered by Tesla are set to expire in two years. It is also worth noting that these are not transferrable if the owner decides to sell their Tesla vehicle in the future.
In addition, it covers all models and variations, as opposed to the $3,750 discount, which only covers Model 3/Y. Therefore, the total incentives offered to US customers are now around $4,750.
Apart from that, the $3,750 discount is still guaranteed to US owners and may be paired with the free Supercharger credits promo. Notably, Tesla launched this $3,750 on December 1 as part of its efforts to push December deliveries.
Free Supercharging miles were a common incentive that Tesla offers. The leading American automaker is now using it again on its December delivery push. This move may indicate how the automaker is having demand issues caused by the impending federal tax credit eligibility of its electric vehicles.
