Canada-based auto restoration and conversion firm North American Electric Vehicles has unveiled its most recent invention, featuring a Tesla-powered 1991 AM General Humvee.
The iconic vehicle was originally used for military applications. With North American Electric Vehicles’ touch, the model now has the Tesla Model S‘ dual-motor powertrain that generates an output of more than 600 hp.
Modification
North American Electric Vehicles redesigned the Humvee EV’s interior and exterior features considerably. It now boasts a black vinyl interior with a contemporary infotainment system and d 20″ alloys. The company also offers a full leather interior design option for $6,000.
The company developed the Humvee EV to support Level 2 charging and equipped it with GPS Speedometer.
