Electric vehicle giant Tesla does not usually sell its cars in “trims,” but in various configurations that tend to come and go from different markets.
For instance, the European return of the Tesla Model 3 Long range RWD with a single motor in April 2023 pleased EV fans. However, it was initially only offered to fleet customers.
Good news
The Model 3 Long Range RWD is among the most desired Tesla EVs due to its remarkable range and price balance.
Finally, customers can now purchase the renowned Model 3 LR RWD directly from the automaker’s online inventory.
German Tesla enthusiast @tesla_adri first reported the good news on Twitter.
Interestingly, other foreign countries reported the same observation, particularly France.
The screenshots attached to the Tweets above show that the electric sedan has a base price of 46,970 euros in Germany, a worthy deal for an EV with a 620 km (385 miles) WLTP-estimated range.
Notably, Tesla’s Senior Key Account Manager on LinkedIn noted its affordable price and remarkable range.
“To accelerate the electrification of Europe’s B2B fleet, we are introducing a new Model 3 variant that caters to the needs of our commercial customers. Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive combines a segment-leading range of 394 miles (WLTP) with the highest charging convenience, at an entry-level price point from £46,990.
Its long-range capabilities combined with access to Tesla’s Supercharger network provide peace of mind for the most intensive and demanding fleet users. Its high-efficiency powertrain delivers best-in-class range while still providing quick acceleration and a comfortable, smooth ride.”
