Tesla Model 3 has been recognized as the world’s “most sought-after EV,” demonstrating customers’ interest in this battery-powered model among any other options available in the market. It is unsurprising given its sports car-like performance, innovative technology, and fair price.

It's official! We think the @Tesla Model 3 is the BEST #car for company car drivers, thanks to its low tax, good real-world range and rock-solid reliability.

It must be noted that the Tesla Model 3 can still be considered a “newcomer” in the EV market as its customer deliveries only began in July 2017.

Therefore, the all-electric sedan’s initial batches are about to reach their fifth anniversary.

Remarkably, the Tesla EV managed to maintain customers’ satisfaction over the years of their ownership. It proved highly reliable, as noted by more than 5,000 Model 3 owners involved in Bloomberg’s latest survey.

Tesla Model 3 demonstrates exceptional performance, ease of use, and appealing design

In 2019, Bloomberg conducted a comprehensive study to determine buyers’ perceptions of their purchased Tesla Model 3. It revealed that the majority of the respondents were upbeat about their all-electric sedan from America’s leading automaker.

Now, Bloomberg published its follow-up study to learn how Tesla Model 3 owners’ feelings toward their EVs changed over the years of their ownership. Unsurprisingly, most of the respondents were still very happy about their purchase even after many years, owing to the model’s performance, ease of use, and design.

Interesting article today discussing the results of a survey of thousands of Model 3 owners.

Some notable observations:

– People love their cars, highly satisfied with Model 3’s performance, ease of use, design and reliability.
– Many Tesla Model 3 owners will upgrade to CT.

The survey asked the Tesla Model 3 owners if the all-electric sedan proved to be more reliable than prior cars they had. In response, the majority of the respondents emphasized that they “strongly agreed or agreed.”

Remarkably, the Tesla EV’s impressive reliability demonstrated continuous growth over time. Tesla Model 3 owners in 2023 cited that once initial issues like paint flaws and misaligned panels got fixed, the EV’s primary systems performed well.

“The only problem I had in 90,000 miles was a broken window button. It cost $51, and they came to my office to repair it.”

Interestingly, the base-level variant earned high scores from Tesla Model 3 owners asked to rate the EV’s reliability. In addition, the majority of the respondents stated that the all-electric sedan still satisfies them with its components and features, including the following:

  • brakes
  • chassis
  • battery
  • drive system
  • electronics
  • climate control
  • interior
  • exterior

All that said, the survey effectively proved that high-quality EVs would offer superior reliability, reducing the need for maintenance than their internal combustion engine-powered rivals.
