The locations of the upcoming Supercharger stations that will launch soon in the US were revealed by Tesla, according to Teslarati. This technology is one of the reasons Tesla has been so successful in the EV industry. Thus, it is expected that they will build more charging stations in the future.
Leaked Supercharger sites
Twitter user @MarcoRPTesla believes that Tesla accidentally disclosed the 50 Supercharger station sites in the US and other places.
The revealed sites also included Kahului, Hawaii, which is now linked to many Tesla Destination Chargers.
Additionally, Tesla plans to build a new supercharger near Nephi, Utah. For reference, there are 15 Supercharger stations now available at many destinations charges in the state.
Furthermore, the locations that have been revealed also include California, more specifically, the San Jose, NorCal, and LA/SoCal regions. Along the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast coasts, Tesla also plans to build several EV charging stations.
It is worth noting that Tesla recently revealed new Supercharger locations in Asia, Europe, and North America. The Tesla community cast votes for those recent locations. However, the 50 new locations leaked were separate from Tesla’s announced locations.
The newest superchargers are probably V3 models. However, Tesla is already developing V4 stations with faster charging and shorter turnaround times. Yuma County, Arizona, may get the first V4 Supercharger station powered by solar energy.
Along with ramping up manufacturing of the Semi, Tesla is projected to install Megachargers in Supercharger locations in the US. For the arrival of the Semi, Tesla has made suggestions to the Canadian government.
Whether or not they were accidentally released, this news is beneficial for the EV sector. It will help EV drivers with their issues with charging infrastructure and boost the adoption of EVs.
