Tesla has once again captured the automotive world’s attention with its forthcoming vehicle that promises to be a game-changer, the Cyberquad. In hindsight, it initially introduced the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) at the Cybertruck launch event in 2019.
The leading American automaker, known for its disruptive approach and innovative designs, has been tight-lipped about specific details. As a result, the vehicle has sparked considerable curiosity and speculation among industry experts and enthusiasts alike.
However, Tesla’s filing for the Cyberquad trademark on May 5 suggests that the Musk-led automaker will soon pursue its production phase.
Cyberquad alongside the Cybertruck
As you can see on the 2019 Cybertruck launch event, the Cyberquad was only an optional offer for customers who buy the electric light-duty truck.
Not a Tesla App previously asserted fans’ eagerness for the Tesla ATV launch, which now seems closer than ever to becoming available on the market.
Tesla renews Cyberquad trademark registration
The Cyberquad trademark had expired due to non-commercial use.
However, a recent trademark registration reveals Tesla’s clear intention to pursue the Cyberquad production while preserving its futuristic name.
Tesla submitted the trademark filing to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on May 5, referring to “all-terrain vehicles; land vehicles; electric vehicles, namely, all terrain vehicles, automobiles, and trucks; trucks; and structural parts therefor.”
Tesla has not revealed precise information about the vehicle. Nonetheless, it claims to have specifically engineered the Cyberquad to fit seamlessly with the Cybertruck.
The company has also not provided any details regarding Cyberquad’s next release. However, a limited number of Tesla enthusiasts managed to acquire the vehicle when a few samples were made available in the past, resulting in an immediate sell-out.
