Tesla European customers reportedly received their Plaid Model S and X cars in the days preceding Christmas, as per Teslarati. Interestingly, many reservation holders get car deliveries on Christmas Eve.
It is no surprise, given that Tesla’s online configurator has already announced that the premium vehicle deliveries would start in December 2022.
Tesla Model S Plaid delivery featured in a YouTube video
Kees Verruijttook uploaded a vlog on his YouTube account about the delivery of his Tesla Model S Plaid on December 23 in the Netherlands.
Additionally, he informed Teslarati that the delivery process was quite similar to that of a typical car delivery, exactly like it was when they received the “first batch in EU” Model 3 in early 2019.
“This was 195 km away at the time, and they just said, ‘yup, just within 200km, so that is where we are delivering. Even though the service station in Groningen where we took delivery now was just 70 km away, We just have to get used to being ‘second, by a lot’ with Tesla. In fact, the delivery experience has gone through a deep bit here, at the end of 2020, they delivered many thousands of M3s in a parking lot in Amsterdam, with 2000 cars a day being delivered.”

Additionally, he offered Tesla some constructive criticism on the delivery site. He claimed that the automaker does not prioritize spec as opposed to a German brand.
“Although the staff was great, the delivery location was not up to spec compared to a German brand if you look at it in detail. This is fine with me, but in general, the entire experience is still not up with the Germans.”

He stated that the performance was excellent and that the car was “mostly great/fine.” However, it has a little glitch on the dashboard. The automaker had also enhanced the manner the car worked on the roadway.
Tesla undoubtedly aims to end the year with a massive record of delivery. In fact, the Fremont Factory was busy with operations on Christmas morning, as shown on a drone flyover. Interestingly, electric vehicles have taken over the staging area and perhaps the entire factory. They are being loaded and transported off the site by car carrier trucks.
