Tesla is actively working to get the Cybertruck units production-ready as the all-electric pickup nears its official market launch. To adhere to the schedule, the automaker continues to deploy the Cybertrucks across Giga Texas’ assembly lines.
As EV-a2z recently reported, the first-ever Cybertruck successfully rolled off the production line on July 15, signifying the company’s commitment to start initial deliveries by the end of 2023.
Cybertruck spotted while under production
Interestingly, the newest Cybertruck example may have been videographed at Giga Texas, obtained by self-proclaimed Cybertruck fan @greggertruck from a Facebook group.
As you can see in the video attached to the Tweet above, it was taken from the shop floor transport vehicle’s passenger seat. It offers a brief glimpse of a yet-to-be-build body of the Cybertruck with Tesla employees working on their part to finish the unit.
Unfortunately, we cannot see many fine details in the video. Nonetheless, it seems that its interior features and windshields are already installed.
Notably, this production strategy is usually employed by the majority of automakers. They build a new vehicle by hand and fix all the issues before it reaches the automated production line.

EV and Tesla fans are getting increasingly excited about the imminent launch of the Cybertruck. As CEO Elon Musk noted at the recent Q2 2023 Earnings Call, the all-electric pickup is highly different from any other vehicle in the market.
“I do want to emphasize that the Cybertruck has a lot of new technology in it, like a lot. It doesn’t look like — it doesn’t look like any other vehicle because it is not like any other vehicle. So — and the production ramp will move as fast as the slowest and least likely elements of the entire supply chain and internal production.”

Tesla aims to begin initial customer deliveries by the end of the year. Meanwhile, mass production will occur the following year.
