Tesla vehicles have a feature that apparently enables mobile app users to access everything from the driver’s route, location, and even what music they are streaming, as noted by a Tesla owner via the prominent social media platform Tiktok.
TikTok space reacts
Tesla owner and Tiktok user Ryan Cowan took his discovery to Tiktok, sharing how the Tesla app can show him crucial details about the electric car.
“My wife is driving home, and the Tesla app shows me the exact speed that she’s doing and the podcast that she’s listening to.
It even shows me the exact navigation path that the car is taking her on as well as the battery percentage she will be on when she gets home.”

Mr. Cowan stated that he could also interfere with the internal features of the Tesla car that was being driven by his wife at that time, including the temperature and the entertainment.
As a result, many Tiktok users called the said feature “creepy” and “disturbing.”
Below are the notable comments from the Tiktok community:
- “A stalker’s dream car”
- “Ultimate stalking unit”
- “Absolutely no privacy”
- “Wait until the gov taps into all of that info”
- “Buying my husband a Tesla”
One user even added that Tesla app users could also control seat warmers at home, to which Mr. Cowan replied, “Haha this is actually so underrated.”
Pun intended, one user suggested changing the music to “clowns laughing” and setting it to maximum volume at midnight. Well, that would be really creepy, literally.
