Tesla has finally initiated the Cybertruck deliveries to non-employee customers, as reported by an online electric vehicle community member on Thursday.

This significant progress hints at an increasing number of Cybertrucks driving around in the following months.

Non-Tesla employee reports delivery progress

Cybertruck Owners Club member susu2142 shared in the online community that he got a call from Tesla that his “CT AWD is ready for pickup” in Sunnyvale, California, on Thursday.

The Cybertruck customer further indicated that he ordered the AWD variant on December 9 and received the VIN # on January 10, 2024.

More interestingly, susu2142 also shared in the forum his spottings of more Cybertruck units driving into the location. There were also reportedly a couple more units for customer delivery.

All these indicate more Cybertruck deliveries for Tesla Sunnyvale’s customers in the subsequent days. True enough, another buyer shared on X that he expects to receive his Cybertruck on January 14.

Awesome! Congrats

Customer review

New Tesla Cybertruck owner susu2142 shared his review for the all-electric pickup after driving it for approximately 50 miles.

He noted a few panel misalignments if one looks closely and a glitch in the right turn signal control.

Nonetheless, the Cybertruck’s handling, acceleration, and steering satisfied the new Cybertruck driver. It also acknowledged the pickup’s tight turning radius owing to its four-wheel steering system.

“Steering is extremely responsive, and the turn radius blew my 22 tundra away.”

Owner’s manual reached the internet

Tesla has not yet released the Cybertruck’s official owner’s manual. However, copies of the document have already reached the online space. It is unsurprising, considering that the Musk-led company has already delivered multiple Cybertrucks to customers.

Content creator T Sportline published a video revealing the entire owner’s manual of the Cybertruck, showcasing its detailed specs and information.

It referred to the 38-minute YouTube content as the “world’s most boring video” due to its boring delivery as it only scrolls down through the document. Interestingly, the manual implies that the Cybertruck is at software version 2023.44.9. You can watch the YouTube content about the Cybertruck owner’s manual at the bottom of this article.

Tesla’s Cybertruck continues to attract significant attention primarily due to its distinct design and limited supply. Therefore, it would be interesting to see owners tinting their windows to protect their privacy from interested pedestrians and drivers.

Tesla’s Cybertruck delivery ramp-up hints at a potential initial success of the new all-electric pickup this year.
