Leading American automaker Tesla stunned the electric vehicle industry as it attained five awards out of fifteen categories at the Fully Charged event in the Netherlands on November 24-26, 2023.
Tesla’s winning developments were two of its electric vehicles, its charging network, and its brand.
Selection process
According to the press release, the Fully Charged team conducted a “large-scale survey” to the audience to choose the nominees. Then, the team and a panel of 15 energy and transportation experts tallied the survey results to come up with the finalists.
On November 9, the team launched the online voting for the finalists across the fifteen categories. It officially closed on November 16.
Stand-up comedian Henning Wehn hosted and declared the winners at the RAI Auditorium in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
“Wow, what an evening! We were blown away by the support we have received for our first ever Fully Charged AWARDS. This was the first consumer voted awards for clean energy and electric vehicles and we would like to thank all those who took the time to vote and help us choose our winners. Congratulations to all our nominees as well as the winners and we are looking forward to 2024’s awards already!”
