Multinational automaker Stellantis is trying to stimulate customer demand for its upcoming battery-electric vehicle (BEV) offerings in the US market with its new enticing offer: free home chargers or public charging credits.
Free2move Charge deals
Stellantis formally announced its new customer incentive program on Monday, according to the press release.
As part of the Free2Move charging ecosystem, Stellantis offers two charging incentive options for buyers of its impending BEV models in the US: at-home charging stations or public charging credits.
The company also introduced the Free2move Charge website and app to help customers take advantage of the new deals.
“With our fully electric vehicles now arriving in the US market, starting with the Fiat 500e, and the Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona coming soon, our customers will quickly realize that our BEVs will carry the same brand DNA that our customers have grown to love, but with electrification and next level technology.”
Carlos Zarlenga, Stellantis COO
Options
As mentioned, the Free2move Charge program offers two options for Stellantis EV customers:
- Free2move Charge Home
- Free2move Charge Go
The Free2move Charge Home option offers Stellantis EV buyers free Level 2 home charging chargers, enabling them to charge their units from the comfort of their homes.
On the other hand, Free2move Charge Go offers eligible customers charging credits worth $600 on public stations across the US. The program also facilitates easier location, activation, and payment at public charging stations via the official app. Remarkably, the app will include over 75,000 charge ports nationwide, with charging infrastructure expanding through 2024.
“With these advancements, our goal is to make the charging process for these vehicles as simple and easy as we can for our owners, and our Free2move Charge options will act as our customers’ entry point.”
Carlos Zarlenga, Stellantis COO
