In early April, Tesla revealed its plans to develop new electric vehicles under its Master Plan Part 3, including a short-range urban truck, a passenger bus, and a commercial and passenger van.
Now, a potential Tesla minibus prototype has appeared in a leaked video circulating the internet, sparking interest and anticipation in the electric vehicle industry.
Leaked video
Las Vegas-based Twitter user Jacob Orth leaked the video of the alleged Tesla people-mover on Twitter, claiming they took the footage firsthand. Apparently, the EV was developed by the Tesla boss’ other venture, the Boring Company.

As you can see in the leaked video, the alleged Tesla minibus features the company’s official logo on the steering wheel.
The EV is not very remarkable in design, as it looks like a regular shuttle bus. That said, it may just be specially developed for local operation.
You can also spot a large glazed area and a total of 12 seats on both sides facing the EV’s interior, including one for the driver. However, it looks like it is still in a very early development phase.
Interestingly, the alleged Tesla minibus or people-mover mirrors The Boring Company’s concept in 2016, unveiling a 12-passenger vehicle for its Las Vegas Loop system. Considering the number of seats, the EV in the leaked video is highly likely the same concept from several years ago.
