With five awards, ŠKODA is again the front-runner in this year’s ‘Auto Trophy 2022′ readers’ poll by the trade magazine Auto Zeitung, which scored better than any other brand, as per the press release by the company.
The KAMIQ tops the list of ‘imported SUVs under 30,000 euros’, whereas the ENYAQ iV led the field in the ‘imported electric SUVs under 50,000 euros’ category.
Readers have voted the SUPERB into first place in two categories: It became the import winner in the ‘mid-size class’ and got the prize for the best price-performance ratio. For nine consecutive times, voters in the readers’ poll named ŠKODA the best import brand.
This year, 16,657 readers and online users participated in the 35th round of the ‘Auto Trophy’ readers poll organized by the trade magazine Auto Zeitung. They chose the winners from 226 models and 95 brands across 32 categories.
One in ten respondents considers ŠKODA the ‘best import brand.’ Currently, the brand has secured the title nine times since 2014.
City-SUV ŠKODA KAMIQ wins in the ‘Import SUV under 30,000 euros’ category
In the ‘Imported SUV up to 30,000 euros’ category, the ŠKODA KAMIQ left the competition with 16.3% of the votes, having it in the first place.
The city SUV combines the SUV’s best features, including a higher seating position and increased ground clearance, with compact vehicle agility and an emotive design.
ENYAQ iV tops in the ‘Imported electric SUV under 50,000 euros’ category
Readers have voted the ŠKODA ENYAQ iV to first place among ‘imported electric SUVs under 50,000 euros’. With 20.51%, one in five votes were for the Czech automaker’s electric flagship. With space to seat five people and 585 liters of boot capacity, increasing to 1,710 liters with the rear seats folded down, the ENYAQ iV is an ideal everyday companion for families.
Depending on the version, it has up to 544 kilometers of range in the WLTP cycle. With short charging times, it is an excellent choice for long journeys.
Two awards for the ŠKODA SUPERB
Auto Zeitung’s readers were impressed by the ŠKODA efficient drive systems, SUPERB’s comprehensive equipment, and the spaciousness ŠKODA cars are known for.
It bagged two awards for these features in the ‘Auto Trophy 2022’. The SUPERB got nearly one in four votes (24.56%) in the ‘Imported mid-class’ category, taking it to the top. Furthermore, with 24.77% of all votes, it achieved first place in the ‘Best price-performance ratio’ category.
