Revel poaches several ex-Tesla Supercharging experts to expand its charging network in New York City as it continues to deploy its technologies across the five boroughs.
For context, Revel is a ride-hailing platform in NYC. It exclusively deploys electric vehicles, offering multiple benefits for its drivers.
Ex-Tesla charging execs join Revel to lead NYC expansion
According to Revel Chief Executive Frank Reig’s LinkedIn post, the company has poached three veterans from the Tesla Supercharger design and construction team affected by Musk’s recent layoffs.
The new Revel family members include Edward Noseworthy, Henry Misas, and Tedy Filis.
Noseworthy is now Revel’s Director of Design and Construction. Under him, Misas will serve as the new Senior Design Manager, while Filis is the new Senior Manager of Charging Deployment.
“On to the next chapter and excited to be back breaking ground in NYC again. I’m joining Revel to help facilitate EV charging construction projects in the five boroughs and beyond — and these are no small sites. We’ve got a lot of work ahead and I’m excited to be helping Revel build an exciting future.”

Revel’s expansion push
Revel has been operating its ride-hailing services in NYC for the past few years already. It is actively working to expand charging infrastructures throughout the five boroughs to support its electric vehicle fleet.
With Tesla Charging veterans’ expertise, Revel expects to overcome some of the challenges impeding its expansion, especially in crowded urban locations.
“Revel is building fast charging in the densest, most congested places in America. It’s not easy, but it’s absolutely necessary. These are not one-size-“its-all projects, to get them done we need creativity and hustle. Henry, Tedy and Ed each have those qualities, making them a great fit for our team, and I’m excited to see what I’my bring as we undertake a major expansion over the next year.”

Revel has many projects in the pipeline for the rest of the Summer this year, including a new charging station in Lower Manhattan with ten stalls on Pier 36. In addition, it plans to launch large-scale projects in multiple locations, including Maspeth, Queens, South Bronx, and LaGuardia Airport, among others.
Revel also confirmed that it is currently pursuing Tesla’s ditched sites in New York.
