German sports car maker Porsche is trying to poach Tesla owners by offering up to $4,500 off its new electric Taycan.
Welcome To Porsche Conquest Lease Program
According to Cars Direct, Porsche released a bulletin to dealerships on June 1 to inform them about the changes to the Welcome To Porsche Conquest Lease Program.
The German automaker is now offering up to $1,500 off the MY24 and MY25 Taycan EVs for eligible customers financing or leasing a competitive model, including a Tesla.
The Welcome To Porsche Conquest Lease Program covers up to three payments, with a total discount value of up to $4,500.
As per the bulletin, the offered credits heavily depend on the number of days to lease maturity:
- 31 to 60 days – 1 credit ($1,500)
- 61 to 90 days – 2 credits ($3,000)
- 91 to 180 days – 3 credits ($4,500)
New Taycan boasts faster charging & longer range
After rolling out the Taycan in 2019, Porsche’s inaugural electric sports car has been on the market for five years.
Porsche unveiled the new 2025MY Taycan EV, offering an extended driving range, stronger performance, and faster charging capability.
The 2025 Porsche Taycan achieves “new heights in terms of performance,” enabling a more efficient driving experience even on longer trips.
Impressively, its fast charging capability boosts the battery’s state of charge from 10% to 80% in just around 18 minutes. The larger battery pack delivers a remarkable driving range of 365 miles (587 km).
It also boasts major improvements, such as a new thermal management system and a modern design upgrade. Inside, it comes with a new infotainment and instrument screen for usability.
Porsche then unveiled its fastest production car to date, the Taycan Turbo GT, which has more than 1,000 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds.

Porsche offers the new Taycan EV deal for people leasing competitive models, particularly Tesla. It demonstrates the German brand’s efforts to boost demand for its electric sports car amid the surge of low-cost Chinese EVs. In Q1 2024, Porsche’s Taycan EV deliveries dropped 45% year-on-year to 4,236 units.
