Swedish automaker Polestar is set to launch the new 2024 Polestar 4 electric SUV in the Australian market next year. It will apparently have a price range of $81,500 to $92,150.

Pricing

The new Polestar 4 will apparently have a base price of $81,500 to rival popular electric SUV models like the Tesla Model Y and Kia EV6, Which Car? reports, citing showroom data site Redbook.

However, the automaker offers more features under optional tech packages. potentially increasing the base price by over $30,000. It is also worth noting that the $81,500 still excludes the necessary on-road costs.

The top-tier variant of the Polestar 4 (Long Range Dual Motor) costs $92,150, plus on-road costs.

Polestar will include the following features to the 2024 Polestar 4 Long Range Single Motor variant as standard:

  • 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster
  • 15.4-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Google built-in apps, Google Maps navigation, DAB+ digital radio
  • Eight-speaker sound system
  • Power tailgate
  • Keyless entry and start
  • Heated front seats
  • Dual-zone climate control
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • 360-degree camera
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Seven airbags
  • Forward and rearward autonomous emergency braking
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane-keep assist
  • Lane centering assist
  • Blind-spot monitoring with braking
  • Front and rear cross-traffic alert with braking
  • Traffic sign recognition
  • Driver attention detection

Polestar has officially commenced the production of the Polestar 4, with the first customer deliveries expected in China by the end of 2023.
The company plans to launch the Polestar 4 in all other markets in early 2024.
