Over 15 global automotive brand manufacturers are currently testing StoreDot’s ground-breaking XFC batteries and systems, and the company has more potential manufacturing partnerships in the works for this year. StoreDot is the inventor of the intense rapid charging high energy battery answer for electric vehicles.

XFC battery technology

The XFC battery technology from StoreDot is currently undergoing field testing by automakers. Leading corporations with headquarters in Europe, Asia, and the US are included among these OEMs. Initial test results show StoreDot’s battery cells are on a path for large-scale production readiness for passenger cars by 2024 and can recharge 100 miles in just five minutes.

With a unique guarantee for auto manufacturers, StoreDot’s 300 Wh/kg EV form factor pouch cells reached over 1,000 continuous extreme-fast cycles without battery degradation.

We’re delighted that so many of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers are testing both our XFC cells and their integration into next-generation electric vehicle architectures, and we are receiving positive feedback about the real-world viability of our technologies,

This is an extremely encouraging endorsement from companies that are now vying to become the first to use our leading 100in5 battery cells in their production vehicles. We are now certain that the first mass-produced StoreDot cell will be commercially available in 2024

Dr. Doron Myersdorf, CEO of StoreDot stated on critical milestone for StoreDot

100inX strategic technology

StoreDot unveiled its “100inX” strategic technology roadmap last year. The strategic technology offered three generations of StoreDot technologies, including silicon-dominant XFC, semi-solid state, and post-lithium architecture, at speeds of 100in5, 100in3, and 100in2 miles per minute of charging.

According to the roadmap, these will be completed by 2024, 2028, and 2032, with 100in5 by 2024, 100in3 by 2028, and 100in2 by 2032.

The business now has an expanding global network of investors and strategic partnerships that spans the entire battery ecosystem. Global automakers like Daimler, Ola Electric, Polestar, VinFast, and Volvo Cars have all invested in it thus far.

StoreDot’s battery technology

Range and charging anxiety are the two main problems of the extensive adoption of electric vehicles (EVs). StoreDot is the inventor and market leader of extreme fast charging (XFC) electric vehicle batteries.

Using proprietary organic and inorganic compounds designed and synthesized by the company and then optimized by Artificial Intelligence algorithms, they have revolutionized the conventional Li-ion battery, enabling EVs to be charged in under ten minutes, comparable to refueling a traditional combustion engine vehicle.

StoreDot’s battery technology aims to provide “Range on Demand” through its “100inX” product roadmap, with 100 miles charged in 5 minutes in 2024, 100 miles set in 3 minutes by 2028, and 100 miles charged in 2 minutes by 2032, thanks to a powerful energy density solution.

Strategic investors and collaborators of StoreDot include Daimler, BP, VinFast, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Ola Electric, Samsung, TDK, and its production partner EVE Energy. StoreDot’s agnostic technology will use current standard production lines without modifying the equipment or process.

The company set a world record by showing a live high-speed charging of an EV battery in 10 minutes capable of over 1000 consecutive XFC cycles in 2022. StoreDot intends to have the 100in5 technology ready for mass production by 2024.
