About the Mercedes Little G

The all-electric Mercedes Little G is an off-roader with a smaller body than the current G-Class model. It reportedly uses Stuttgart’s most recent technology to enable zero-emission driving and superior luxury feels.

In hindsight, Chief Ola Kallenius gave the Little G nickname to the upcoming model at the 2023 IAA Mobility Show in Munich.

Exterior design

According to Motor1, the Mercedes Little G EV will have a similar appearance as the G-Class. As the name implies, it will be significantly smaller in stature.

It will feature a boxy retro exterior design. Rendering experts also reckon it will have a closed-off grille, tri-star logo, and illuminated accents.

It will also have a rugged appearance with off-road tires, given that it is an off-road SUV. Its front fascia, wheel wells, and rear bumper are expected to integrate plastic cladding.

It may also offer more off-road features, such as brush guards, skid plates, and tow hooks.

Performance

The report further indicated that the Mercedes Little G may ride on the new t Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA).

It will reportedly support 800V charging and offer just over 300 miles of driving range with standard AWD configuration.

Mercedes has yet to announce some specific details like battery size, motor, and capacities.

Pricing

Estimates suggest that the Mercedes Little G may have a starting price of approximately $55,000 to 65,000.

For reference, the full-size G 550 SUV sells at about $140,000, while the AMG G 63 at $179,000.

Reports also anticipate Mercedes to officially introduce the new model by 2026.
