According to HT Auto, the Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV debuted at the Indonesia International Auto Show in Jakarta. The 10-day event kicked off on July 18 and will conclude on July 28, 2024.

This latest concept signifies a major step forward towards the eVX’s production model compared to the one unveiled in Japan earlier.
Maruti Suzuki’s eVX will be one of the first electric SUV models in the Indian compact segment, competing with the likes of the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and Honda Elevate EV, among others.
Power and performance
Suzuki revealed that the eVX electric SUV will feature its all-wheel drive (AWD) technology, improving its off-road capabilities.
The automaker also disclosed that the eVX Concept comes with a new All-Grip technology, first equipped in Maruti Grand Vitara and Jimny SUVs.
In addition, Suzuki also announced that the Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV will deliver a maximum driving range of 500 km between charges without specifying the battery size. Local media expects this upcoming electric SUV to have a battery capacity of around 60 kWh.
Design and other features
The Maruti Suzuki eVX concept sports an aggressive look. It has an LED headlight and DRL units, an LED lightbar, a high-mounted stop lamp, a rear spoiler, and a shark-fin antenna.
Inside, the production eVX is expected to offer a wide range of features such as follows:
- a large touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration
- digital instrument cluster
- wireless charger
- front-ventilated seats
- automatic climate control
- electric adjustment for the driver seat
